About the Role

In this role, you’ll work closely with clients, helping them live their best lives by assisting with day-to-day activities and planning fun outings like bowling, shopping, and cinema trips. The role involves personal care responsibilities, and the ideal candidate will be compassionate, reliable, and flexible. You will prepare person-centred support plans, respect each client’s beliefs and preferences, and help clients build independent living skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update person-centred support plans with clients
  • Support clients in pursuing social activities, hobbies, and outings
  • Assist with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner
  • Communicate openly with clients and team members
  • Ensure accurate, daily record-keeping with client involvement
  • Promote client safety by following Health and Safety guidelines
  • Support quality inspections and liaise with inspectors as needed
  • Carry out household duties (cleaning, cooking, laundry) as required

Requirements

  • Fully flexible to cover all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and sleep-in shifts
  • Care Certificate (or willingness to complete)
  • Experience in a care role is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills for managing care records
