Requirements:
- GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience working in a customer service or office environment.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.

About the Role:
As a Learning & Development Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the training and development of HDFT staff. You’ll be coordinating the Trust’s training program, arranging courses, and providing support to staff with learning inquiries. This role involves close collaboration with other teams and offers the chance to contribute positively to the Trust’s overall mission. The Learning & Development Team prides itself on fostering a supportive work environment where every member feels valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the learning and development needs of all Trust staff, ensuring high standards are maintained. Your work will have a direct impact on the quality of care provided to patients.
- Utilizing various computer systems, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and the Trust’s Learning Management System (Learning Lab). Your technical proficiency will enable efficient management of training programs.
- Organizing, administering, and promoting the Trust’s Training Programme. Your organizational skills will ensure a smooth and effective training experience for staff.
- Arranging training courses, liaising with facilitators and venues, managing bookings, and distributing pre-course materials.
- Implementing standard procedures, conducting audits, and reporting on training data. Your attention to detail will help maintain accurate records and ensure effective training outcomes.
- Responding to staff inquiries regarding learning and development, providing first-class customer service and support.
- Offering eLearning support to staff, helping them adapt to new technologies and learning platforms.
