Requirements:

They are looking for a friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join their Digital Services team. You should be passionate about providing outstanding customer service and IT support. Previous Service Desk experience is a plus, as is an ITIL certification, but a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn are just as valuable.

  • 3 GCSEs at grade C or above (including English and Maths) or an equivalent are required.
  • An NVQ3 or HNC (or equivalent) in a PC/desktop support discipline is essential.
  • ECDL (or equivalent knowledge) is also required.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-facing service environment is a must.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems is essential.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills are key.
  • You should be adaptable and flexible regarding working hours.

About the Role:

As a Digital Service Desk Analyst, you’ll be providing first-line IT support to staff across the Trust. You’ll handle inquiries via phone, email, and remotely, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a high standard of service. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 10:00 pm), offering a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive team and contribute to the smooth running of a vital healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line IT support (phone, email, remote).
  • Interpret, investigate, and resolve IT inquiries efficiently.
  • Support various technologies (desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers, phones).
  • Troubleshoot software applications and corporate systems.
  • Record, monitor, and maintain incidents and service requests.
  • Restore normal service quickly and efficiently.
  • Train users to resolve issues remotely.
  • Escalate complex issues to relevant teams.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Create and maintain knowledgebase documentation.
  • Manage and maintain the asset database.
  • Assist with equipment moves (occasionally).
  • Adhere to the Trust’s Digital Technology Security Policy.
  • Participate in staff training and attend meetings.
  • Demonstrate the Trust’s core values and behaviors.
