- A qualification in Health/Social Care or an accredited award like NVQ Level 3, or relevant work experience

About the Role:
As a Living Well Coach, you’ll be a vital part of the Wellbeing Service, working closely with GP practices and the wider ICC team in Keswick and Solway. Imagine empowering people with long-term health conditions and psychosocial needs to live fuller, more independent lives. That’s the heart of this role. You’ll provide personalized coaching, helping individuals set achievable goals and connect them with resources that truly make a difference. You’ll use your active listening skills and motivational interviewing techniques to understand their unique circumstances and guide them on their journey towards better health and wellbeing. Your impact will extend beyond individual coaching sessions, as you’ll also play a key role in low-level clinical screening, wellbeing assessments, and reviews of functional abilities, social circumstances, and support networks. This is an incredible opportunity to develop specialized skills in areas like CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and social prescribing, all while receiving ongoing training and clinical supervision from the Physical Health Psychology Department at NCIC. Your work will be varied and rewarding, involving one-on-one sessions, home visits, and collaboration with a dedicated team.

- Empowering individuals to self-manage their health and wellbeing through personalized coaching sessions.
- Conducting assessments to understand individual needs and circumstances.
- Connecting individuals with relevant services and resources.
- Developing and implementing personalized care plans.
- Collaborating with GP practices and the wider ICC team.
- Providing ongoing support and motivation to individuals.
- Participating in training and clinical supervision.
