Job Description
The AES Corporation’s Structured Trading & Analytics team is seeking a summer intern to support the ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) & Position Reporting team. This paid internship opportunity will provide college students with hands-on experience in the renewable energy industry, working on high-impact projects and interacting with professional experts.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with data analysis and reporting activities related to energy trading and risk management
- Supporting the team in position reporting and monitoring processes
- Contributing to various projects and tasks as assigned by the team
Skills and Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
- Strong interest in the renewable energy industry
- Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and changing environment
