About the Features Data Intern Role
The Features Data Intern position is an integral part of the Features team at Hearst Magazines. This role is responsible for supporting the team in analyzing data, researching archives, and preparing stories for republishing and promotion across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand data related to successful feature stories
- Conduct research and data mining to identify stories with high engagement potential
- Prepare stories for republishing, repackaging, and re-promotion
- Collaborate with the Features team on various projects
Qualifications:
- Strong research skills with an analytical mindset
- Understanding of effective narrative storytelling
- Self-motivated and collaborative work style
- Major in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field
