Job Description:

The Information & Communication Technology Internship at WSP USA offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with industry experts and gain practical experience in various engineering tasks related to ICT. Interns will contribute to project research, preliminary design analysis, and project documentation, while receiving mentorship and networking opportunities through WSP’s Developing Professionals Network.

Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
  • Learn basic principles of ICT and assist with research and preliminary design calculations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to prepare final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
  • Maintain project documentation and participate in training sessions.
  • Uphold workplace safety and ethical standards outlined by WSP’s Code of Conduct.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Enrolled in an accredited Software Engineering or related Undergraduate program.
  • Demonstrated interest in ICT or related field with a desire to advance skills relevant to WSP’s projects.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
  • Ability to follow direction from leadership and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in technical writing, office automation, and relevant software tools.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Revit software.
  • Prior internship or leadership experience.
  • Campus involvement in relevant organizations or activities.
