Job Description
Blue Robotics is seeking an Electronics Design Co-Op to join their dynamic team in Victoria, BC. The successful candidate will collaborate with the design team to develop cutting-edge electronics solutions for underwater applications. From conceptualization to production, they will play a crucial role in bringing innovative ideas to life.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of PCB layouts and circuit designs.
- Participate in testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement new ideas.
- Work closely with mentors to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
- Assist in various stages of the design process, from concept to manufacturing.
Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Enrolled in an Engineering degree program (EE, Eng Phys, Mechatronics, etc.).
- Strong foundation in electronic and microelectronic theory.
- Experience in designing, building, and testing PCBs.
- Passion for innovation and creating new electronic solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Co-op Basics:
- Duration: 4-month or 8-month co-op terms.
- Fall co-op begins September 2024.
- On-site work required at the Victoria, BC office.
- Eligibility to work in Canada or eligibility for a TN visa.
