Job Description
American Cruise Lines is seeking a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join their corporate team. This role is pivotal in supporting the organization’s master data and reporting strategies. Based in the scenic shoreline town of Guilford, CT, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy and optimizing reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage user authentication across operational and reporting platforms.
  • Ensure successful execution of ETL jobs and maintain report accuracy.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data and process confidential information according to guidelines.
  • Develop and analyze reports across multiple platforms.
  • Manage the reporting environment, including data sources and user permissions.
  • Assess tests and implement new or upgraded software.
  • Actively participate in UAT strategies for supported application change management.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Train end users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Ability to work in and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • 1-2 years of work experience as a data analyst or in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large datasets and relational databases.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS SQL.
  • Familiarity with Tableau reporting.
