About The Role

We’re in search of early members to join our machine learning team. As part of this team, you will collaborate closely with the founding members, taking ownership of crucial technical decisions regarding the development and deployment of our cutting-edge ML models.

Responsibilities

  • Design and construct Suno’s machine learning models and associated infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement systems comprising multiple low-latency ML models.
  • Create and enhance distributed training systems to optimize performance.
  • Focus on enhancing the overall user experience, ensuring our products deliver joy, beauty, and seamless functionality.

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in building ML systems for production environments.
  • Proficient in Python, PyTorch, and distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in optimizing latency and throughput of ML systems, including GPU workloads.
  • A keen eye for detail, a passion for rapid iteration and learning, and a dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • A genuine love for music (whether it’s listening, exploring, or creating) is highly valued.

Additional Notes: Applicants must have eligibility to work in the US.

Compensation

The annual salary/OTE range for this role is $170,000 to $240,000, inclusive of target equity and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401k.
