About the Role:
As a Healthcare Assistant in Gastroenterology, you’ll be right at the heart of patient care. This isn’t just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out instructions from the Registered Nurse, who is in charge of care delivery.
- Deliver care according to NNUH’s approved tasks for Healthcare Assistants.
- Report any patient concerns or changes in their condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Respond effectively to clinical emergencies, ensuring patients receive proper care.
- Assist with patient admissions under the guidance of the Registered Nurse.
- Provide top-quality, personalized nursing care.
- Keep detailed records of all care provided, signed off by a Registered Nurse, maintaining confidentiality.
- Help prepare patients and equipment for procedures as instructed by the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical area.
