  • You’ll need at least two years of experience in a similar role.
  • A range of painting and decorating skills (preparation, color matching, wallpapering) is essential.
  • An NVQ, City & Guilds, or recognized qualification in painting and decorating is a must. (Remember, they’ll need to see your certificates later if they offer you the job).

Salary Details:

£24,071 to £25,674 a year

About the Role:

As their Maintenance Painter & Decorator, you’ll be brightening up their 46 sites across Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This means you’ll be out and about, traveling in your Trust van to different locations (from Worcester to Redditch and everywhere in between). Your days will be filled with a mix of reactive tasks (think quick fixes and touch-ups) and planned projects (like giving a whole ward a fresh coat of paint). You’ll be working with their approved color palette and using low-VOC water-based paints. You’ll manage your workload using a handy mobile CAFM system. Plus, you’ll meet up with your fellow builders, carpenters, and painters bi-monthly for team catch-ups. It’s a great chance to use your skills to improve the environment for patients and staff.
