About the Role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Oracle, you will play a pivotal role in building large-scale distributed infrastructure for the cloud. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation applications and tools, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that drive business success.
Responsibilities
- Develop large-scale distributed infrastructure for the cloud.
- Write efficient code and design data structures and algorithms for next-generation applications and tools.
- Debug and fix software programs for web services, databases, applications, and networks.
Requirements
Objective Minimum Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science or equivalent science/engineering field by August 2024.
- Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
- Proficiency in two or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, NoSQL, PL/SQL, Go, or similar.
- Academic coursework, completed projects, or prior internship/research experience in at least three of the following areas: Algorithms, Machine Learning, Compilers, Computer Architecture, Data Mining, High-Performance Computing, Distributed Systems, Data Structures, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Object-Oriented Design, Network Security, Big Data, Web/Mobile Technologies, Operating Systems, Database Systems, Cloud Computing, Parallel Programming.
- Experience working on at least two of the following areas: Linux Operating Systems, Web Services, Compute Platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Storm, Ganglia, Nagios, openTSDB, Elasticsearch), Scrum & Agile Methodologies.
