Job Description:
X is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Data Engineering team in San Francisco. This role involves crafting robust data pipelines to serve various stakeholders, including end-users and internal teams like Product, AI, Marketing, Ads, and Sales. The engineer will design, code, and maintain data projects, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and usability.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust and efficient data pipelines.
- Collaborate with team members to code, ship, and maintain projects.
- Adapt quickly to different toolings, infrastructures, and environments.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and usability of data products.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Scala/Java, Python, and Rust.
- Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, Flink, SQL, RMDBs, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with distributed systems and data pipeline building.
- Strong commitment and willingness to relocate to the SF office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Duration and Location:
- Full-time position based in San Francisco, CA.
Compensation:
- Base Salary Range: $127,000 to $297,000 USD.
