About the Scholarship:
The Audi Environmental Foundation is committed to advancing research in new technologies and scientific methods to ensure a sustainable future. Established in 2009 by AUDI AG, it aims to contribute to environmental protection and promote sustainable behaviors. The Foundation focuses on developing environmentally compatible technologies, environmental education, and preserving natural ecosystems for humans, animals, and plants.
In light of challenges such as resource scarcity, environmental degradation, climate change, and population growth, sustainability has become increasingly vital. To address these complex challenges, collaboration is essential. Therefore, the Audi Environmental Foundation is partnering with One Young World to provide scholarships to 15 inspiring young leaders to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada.
This scholarship targets young leaders driving change and combating the climate crisis through innovative technologies, climate education advancement, or ecosystem preservation by halting or reversing land degradation.
Scholars will receive:
- Access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, Canada.
- Hotel accommodation in Montreal from September 16 to 21, 2024.
- Participation in the pre-event hosted by Audi AG and the Audi Environmental Foundation on September 17, 2024. Note: Attendance at the pre-event is a prerequisite for accepting the scholarship.
- Economy class flights to and from Montreal.
- Catering, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Transportation between the Summit accommodation and venue.
Criteria:
- Age between 18 and 30.
- Nationals of all countries are eligible to apply.
- Demonstrated commitment to driving positive change.
- Capacity for leadership.
- Understanding of key local and/or global issues.
- Track record of generating impactful and innovative solutions.
- Demonstrated impact and innovation in addressing environmental challenges.
