Requirements
- Minimum five GCSEs grade C or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Excellent analytical, judgement, and organizational skills.

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in clinical coding within the NHS. As an Entry Level Clinical Coder, you’ll be working with patient information, translating medical details into codes used for record-keeping and analysis. It’s a detailed-oriented role that offers a real chance to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstracting and analyzing complex patient clinical information, translating it into a standardized coded format.
- Accurately inputting coded information into a computerized system.
- Managing and prioritizing your workload to meet deadlines.
- Liaising with various NHS staff members.
- Committing to the intensive training program and studying for an internal examination to progress to Band 4 and then the Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) qualification to progress to Band 5.
