They are currently in search of a Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test deliverables and artifacts, including test plans, cases, and results summaries, to evaluate complex applications and system integrations, particularly for Finance applications such as Oracle EBS, Mulesoft, and integrated SaaS platforms.
- Engage in database systems, data pipeline orchestration, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java), data modeling, ETL processes, cloud platforms, data quality and governance, monitoring and logging tools, database management, and data warehousing.
- Contribute to defect management and report QA status, focusing on PL/SQL, Mulesoft/API-based integration testing, and QTC domain expertise.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Cutover phases.
- Possess at least 8 years of experience in software development and/or quality engineering, particularly in packaged finance applications like Zuora revenue and Sabrix tax engine.
- Participate in test data setup, execution, and updating of test management tools, as well as regression testing and automation.
- Generate detailed defect reports with step-by-step instructions, screenshots, and data records.
