Requirements:
Ward 35 is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant. If you have a passion for providing quality care and are eager to join a dedicated team, they encourage you to apply. About the Role:
As a Healthcare Assistant on Ward 35, you’ll be joining a busy 27-bed female trauma orthopaedic ward. This is your chance to provide comprehensive care to patients with a range of medical conditions and orthopaedic injuries. You’ll be working closely with a dedicated team, using a bay-based nursing approach to ensure they deliver personalized, holistic care. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to maintaining their high standards, and make a real impact on patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general care to orthopaedic patients.
- Assist qualified staff in caring for patients with medical conditions and fractures.
- Maintain patient dignity, sensitivity, and empathy.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and welfare.
- Report accidents and incidents.
- Comply with infection prevention and control policies.
- Report changes in patient conditions.
- Liaise with other disciplines and departments.
- Maintain accurate records and bed states.
- Support patients’ emotional well-being.
- Contribute to effective communication.
- Participate in training and development opportunities.
