Requirements:

They’re looking for an experienced Clinical Support Worker who’s passionate about patient care. If you have a solid understanding of acute care and are ready to join a friendly and supportive team, they’d love to hear from you!

  • You’ll need at least 18 months of experience in an acute care/hospital setting.
  • Experience working in multiple clinical areas/disciplines is essential.
  • A basic understanding of physiology (vital signs, fluid balance, nutrition) is important.
  • You should have a Care Certificate.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are required.
  • An NVQ/Diploma Level 3 (or equivalent) in a healthcare-related field is a must.
  • You must be a strong team player and have a good understanding of patient-centered care principles.

Salary Details:

£24,071 to £25,674 a year per annum

As a Clinical Support Worker, you’ll be a vital part of their team. You’ll work under the supervision of a registered nurse, contributing to holistic assessments, delivering personal and clinical care, and participating in nursing interventions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to holistic patient assessments (not primary assessments).
  • Deliver personal and clinical care (hygiene, nutrition, skin care, chaperoning).
  • Participate in nursing interventions delegated by a registered nurse/practitioner.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity.
  • Participate in handovers and meetings.
  • Demonstrate extended skills (ECG, bloods, venepuncture, cannulation, wound treatments).
