Job Summary:
As a Technology and Architecture Intern at FHI 360, you will perform entry-level professional duties under close supervision, gaining valuable experience in various functional areas of the organization. This paid internship offers practical experience and exposure to the operations of a global nonprofit development organization.
Essential Job Functions / Principal Accountabilities:
- Apply analytics to department policies, protocols, procedures, and special projects.
- Conduct research and analytics on various assignments and make recommendations.
- Organize, document, and publish technical standards and architecture processes and decisions.
- Maintain Technical Inventory in Architecture inventory tools.
- Assist in quality assurance efforts on emerging technology projects.
- Provide technical assistance on Technology Architecture and Planning (TAP) related projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Demonstrated interest in related subject areas through studies, work experience, or personal travel.
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Energetic, eager to tackle new projects, and articulate.
Working Conditions:
- Remote office environment.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; ability to lift up to 5 lbs.
