Job Description
The role of Crypto Research Strategist at 21Shares is ideal for individuals with a strong financial background and a passion for the crypto space. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research, product development, and sales services. This client-facing position involves providing top-tier support while delivering groundbreaking crypto research. The Crypto Research Strategist will report to the Head of Research and be based in New York City.
Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive and in-depth research on crypto markets.
- Develop quantitative and qualitative insights and strategic recommendations for crypto investment.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance, and product developments.
- Create research reports, market summaries, and presentations for business development and client education.
- Collaborate with US stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and enhance market presence.
- Support distribution team in sales efforts, providing insightful market analysis.
- Provide product-specific insights and recommendations to clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the ETF/ETP landscape, especially within crypto markets.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or similar certifications are advantageous.
- Strong passion and understanding of the crypto and blockchain industry.
- 3+ years of experience in equity research, investment advisory, or related roles.
- Solid quantitative skills with knowledge of portfolio theory and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with ETF/ETPs and their application in the financial markets, particularly in crypto.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Proactive, curious, and detail-oriented personality with strong analytical mindset.
- Previous experience in ETF or crypto industry is a plus.
Duration and Location
- Full-time, hybrid model based in New York City (Monday – Wednesday in-office).
Compensation
- Base salary: $135,000/yr – $175,000/yr (NYC only).
