Internship Overview:
- Job Title: Information Security and Data Analytics Intern
- Location: Belmont, CA
- Type: Full-time, On-site Internship
- Duration: 10 weeks (starting June 11, 2024)
- Schedule: Hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week)
- Hourly Rate: $28/hr – $30/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the development of Governance, Risk, and Compliance metrics and dashboards to enhance organizational safety and security.
- Build domain knowledge to identify long-term risk areas and contribute to risk analysis and findings.
- Assist in Cybersecurity operations, including assessments, reporting, and documentation.
- Contribute to managing the GRC unified tool and generate security-related artifacts to meet compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing an undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Jira.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
