  • Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse or student nurse nearing qualification, with UK NMC registration.
  • A commitment to diversity and inclusion, with evidence of previous involvement or initiative in promoting equality.
  • Experience or a willingness to develop clinical competencies in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Currently, UHSussex is not directly hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses requiring sponsorship.

    In accordance with Agenda for Change, Band 5: £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, pro-rata.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and support patients upon admission, ensuring timely access to appropriate care pathways.
  • Develop and execute clinical competencies relevant to your nursing role.
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and their families, managing challenging situations with sensitivity.
  • Promote the hospital’s sustainability initiatives, aligning with UHSussex’s goal of net zero carbon emissions.
