Job Description
Cboe Global Markets is seeking a Software Engineer .Net Full Stack Intern for their Systems Development division. The role involves constructing highly scalable, performant, and robust systems to leverage comprehensive market data sets and analytics. As an intern, you will engage with diverse teams across various departments, gaining hands-on experience in your field of interest. The internship program, running from June to August, emphasizes real-world work experiences coupled with academic, professional, and personal growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Developing web applications and RESTful services using C#.NET
- Utilizing front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and the JavaScript ecosystem
- Familiarity with React, Angular, or Blazor
- Practical experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server
- Demonstrating strong fundamental programming skills, along with knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Operating comfortably in both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Collaborating effectively within a fast-paced financial and technical environment
- Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills and Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in the technology/engineering field with a keen interest in financial markets
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously or in a team setting
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills
