About the Role

This transformative opportunity opens doors for individuals seeking to start a rewarding healthcare career. The programme begins with a structured four-week training period, designed to build essential healthcare knowledge and practical skills. Successful trainees will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in community hospitals and mental health inpatient units across Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in comprehensive healthcare training programme
  • Learn to deliver personal care with dignity and respect
  • Master patient observation and monitoring techniques
  • Develop skills in supporting patient wellbeing
  • Work towards Care Certificate completion within 12 weeks
  • Support registered nurses in patient care delivery
  • Learn emergency procedures and first aid protocols

Requirements

  • GCSE grades A*-D or 3-9 in English Language/Literature
  • GCSE grades A*-D or 3-9 in Mathematics
  • Basic IT skills
  • Ability to start on 3rd February 2025
  • Available for full-time training in first 4 weeks
  • Genuine passion for patient care
  • Strong communication abilities
