About the Internship:
Bell is seeking a Senior Manager of Artificial Intelligence to join their team and lead the transformation of the organization by delivering Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Advanced Analytics capabilities. In this role, the intern will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of AI and machine learning (ML) technologies and contribute to Bell’s strategic mandates.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the strategy for AI and ML practice within the organization.
  • Establish Enterprise AI Governance and model monitoring practices.
  • Provide leadership support in AI technical committees and cross-functional collaborations.
  • Drive the adoption of AI tools and reusability architecture.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to drive innovation in AI advancements.
  • Coach and mentor data scientists, architects, and engineers for career development.
  • Establish AI Project Management Office (PMO) function for better visibility on key implementations.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices are followed by the team.
  • Provide data analysis, dashboarding, and reporting capabilities for advanced analytics and visualization.
  • Prepare data and build reporting to support model evaluation.
  • Manage internal partnerships to align and ensure adoption of AI vision and execution.
  • Persuade business domains and users to leverage Enterprise AI framework for building AI products.
  • Support a multi-year roadmap for AI Transformation within Bell.
  • Lead a team of data scientists, business, and data analysts.

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience leading AI teams and implementing AI and Analytics solutions.
  • Strong technical skills in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for artificial intelligence and its potential impact.
  • Understanding of the business implications of AI and analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of AI model evaluation and monitoring.
  • Theoretical understanding of neural networks and optimization algorithms.
  • Experience in the telecom and/or call centre operation sector.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in AI and analytics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen.
  • Proven project management and change management skills.
  • Proficiency in French is required for positions in Quebec.
